Scary Chinese lady
We call her the scary Chinese lady but she isn't scary at all. She is very loud and reminds us of Rusty Lee.
The bucket shop
This is pork and potatoes, it's belly pork with roasted potatoes, chili and rice at the bottom... Jaz's favorite!
Buffet Pic n Mix
This is most likely our favorite food stall along our street. You get a bowl and fill it with as much as you can from an array of dishes. they then add rice and put it into a huge steam vat to heat it up. They do duck with celery and pork with green chillie... they are also very friendly and they practice their English and laugh at us practicing our Chinese...
Next door and still all the same family I think! Pick and mix shop.
Individual little bowls in big steam warmers. They take off the lid and you pick the little bowls you want to eat. Be careful if you wear glasses, Jaz has picked some dodgy dishes...lol
As above
Yummy selection... costs about 25 Yuan (2.50 gbp)
Dumplings
There is a famous (I never heard of it) dumpling shop on our street. You decide what you want in the dumplings (not easy as its all in Chinese) and they cook them fresh. You get a chili and garlic dipping sauce.
