Still No Eye Dear
Parked up in the south of France we were very lucky enough to meet the most amazing family from Belgium. Luke (pictured above on the piano) Anneliese his partner and their beautiful daughter Mia and lovely son Tom. After a night of beer and music we left with an invitation to visit them should we venture into Antwerp. Some time later we took up their invitation and spent two amazing weeks with them living as locals. Shopping, schools runs, concerts and socialising and of course writing and recording music. Luke, a Sound Engineer and talented musician and Anneliese a proficient multi linguist language teacher. Their hospitality was so warm and welcoming we had an amazing time. With lots of awesome Belgian beer and a little JD we scratched out a concept album and put it to music. For sure a truly memorable time and an experience we shall never forget.
Fortunately we were able to return some hospitality to them when they visited the UK later that year. Thanks Luke for your help in the kitchen that night, you guys are always welcome back here anytime.
We miss you all so much and would love to relive those days again. Perhaps a follow up album? You have a great voice Anneliese and BearLia was written for you.
